A perfect valentine's date would be:
Being picked up in a limosine and swept away to a secret place for a special weekend to include dinner at a seafood restaurant. Having champagne and chocolate strawberries for dessert.
Lots of chocolate involved in a secluded setting--maybe on a sailboat or a private yacht.
The perfect valentine date
would involve being kidnapped from home (1st being told to back a overnight bag)..driven to a special resturant (out of town) for a romantic lunch by a fire place. Then I would be whisked off to a very special hotel to find my prearranged spa appointment awaiting. After 3 hours of being thoroughly pampered in the spa with a massage, manicure and pedicure...I return to my room to find a box of chocholate, bottle of perfume and a very special piece of jewelry.....the perfect Valentine's date....for any girl!
Going to dinner at our favorite restaurant and then spending the weekend locked away in our favorite hotel with just champagne and chocolate covered strawberries.
A cruise to the Caribbean that arrived to the islands the day before Valentines Day. Of course there would have to be a wonderful formal dinner off the boat on shore somewhere on Valentines Day night. Outside of that the entire trip would have to revolve around laziness and pure bliss. And of course my wife of 8 years would be with me the entire time. :)
My dream Valentines Date is honestly, A good trashy romance comedy, a steak dinner (from outback) and with my boyfriend. Don't even need dinner. Anything with him is great.
Lunch with my husband at The Cheesecake Factory. Followed by a spa treatment at the Red Door. Last but not least, shopping at Short pump town mall!
My Valentine's dream date would be...
A unique form of transportation, no limos or anything. A dinner somewhere, doesn't have to be fancy. Go to the movies and see Dear John, and go to a lake and talk for hours. Anything with the perfect guy, would be the perfect Valentine's dream date.
My dream date would be a early afternoon movie with my wife. Next would have dinner at a nice, romantic dinner/desert. We would spend the night away from home in a room with a jacuzzi tub for us to relax in and finish the desert from the dinner. We could finish the night with a massage session with each other. That would be the perfect date. If only I could find a way to watch some sportscenter!
Being in a sailboat off the coast of Maui with a sunset dinner of lobster and chocolate!
In an outdoor hot tub with your sweetie, while it's snowing, with your favorite adult beverage.
My perfect Valentines Day would be a romantic, candle lit dinner with my husband at our favorite restaurant. A good bottle of wine and a slice of cheesecake to split. I would love to come home to a house filled with roses, and a relaxing bubble bath followed by a long massage! And to top it all off, a beautiful diamond pendent!
This Valentine's Day, my boyfriend and I will be having dinner together at the Melting Pot, complete with the roses and the wine and the cute picture of us together. When we get home we are going to cuddle and watch movies by the fire and have red strawberry/banana jello snacks. This is everything I want for Valentine's Day and I know it will be amazing.
A perfect valentines date would be spending dinner in quiet place so it would give us a chance to chat and know ourselves more. Surprises on dates are always fun! Gifts - flowers, chocolates, or others - are very much appreciated to make the day more meaningful! The date shouldn't end with just dinner...a walk to a garden (weather permit) or discovering a new place can add to the beauty of the night - something that we can both venture and explore together.
My dream date would be with having my husband surprise me with a limo (never been in one), driving to the airport, flying somewhere warn and with NO SNOW and spending a couple of stress free days with no pagers, cellphones, computers, etc. Spending time alone with my husband with no interuptions would be the greatest treat of all!!
The ULTIMATE date would be a weekend away somewhere warm, beachy, and serene. :O)
My REALISTIC date would be an afternoon of shopping together, then a steak dinner out and tickets to some kind of show or play (not a movie).
I'm a pretty simple girl, though, so just about anything with my husband, and without kids, would be a dream!
My ultimate Valentine's Dream Date would be spending the ENTIRE day and night with my special Valentine where we would spend the day together shoppig, eating at Firebirds or California Pizza Kitchen, catching an afternoon matinee at Regal Cinema, have a romantic dinner and spend the rest of the evening cuddling at home!!!
(don't get me wrong-I love my kid, but...) my dream date-finding a babysitter and then...
Surprising my wife with a weekend in Charleston, SC eating tons of fantastic seafood there and walking through the markets and streets with no plan other than to relax, eat, and share a little TLC.
However, since our schedules don't allow it I would have to say
Sending my wife for a massage early in the day (probably at the Red Door-she's never been there) so she can relax before I take her to her favorite restaurant (Cheesecake Factory) and ordering 3 types of cheesecake since we can never make up our mind which ones to buy. Then walking her through the mall on a scavenger hunt to find her gift (which would be a gift certificate to Ann Taylor Loft (her favorite store). Then we'd maybe take in a movie.
a dozen of red roses delivered first thing in the morning with breakfast in bed. then a day at the spa being pampered with a massage, manicure, and pedicure. The day would end wih dinner at Maggianos with a special bottle of wine and profiteroles for dessert.
A night with just my husband, no kids. We would go to a restaurant for a drink, then we would sit down for a meal and dessert. We would go to a restaurant that we would never take our kids too. After dinner we would go to the movies. We would have our kids go stay at grandmas house, so we would have the house to ourselves and this would allow us to sleep in the next day. The ideal gift would be a nice small piece of jewerly.
Take me to a chateau with a beautiful view of the mountains. With the fireplace ablaze, we would have dinner by candlelight. Then enjoy my favorite after dinner drink, coffee and Kahlua, with delicious dessert, profiteroles! Then cozy up by the fire and enjoy the rest of the evening (no kids, no iPhone or Blackberry, no tv). That would be a gift by itself.
Having two kids and a husband who travels for work - my idea of 'my ideal date' has drastically changed from something I would have said a couple of years ago. Now my ideal date is dinner with my husband somewhere we can linger over our meal and talk :) - what a unique concept! We had a tradition BC (before children) of getting a couple of chocolate covered strawberries (from Godiva) and a bottle of champagne for dessert ;) - that and picking out Valentine's Day cards for each other, to me that would be a FABULOUS date night. I know its not a trip to the islands or a weekend away but for a couple of hours it would be great to concentrate on us again
Having dinner at the best hotel in the city and then off to the nicest room available
To be picked up by my hubby of 46 years in a limo and taken to Vito's (in Nellysford VA) for some FINE Itilian food. Being in the mountains is great anytime for me. Then my perfect gift would be a 14k white gold flower multi-colored sapphire ring I have my eye on at a local jewelry store. What a wonderful day that would be!
A well selected card and a few quality chocolates are the perfect gift. I love roses too but hate the Valentines Day mark-up. Being a frugal shopper, I hint to my husband to buy flowers early. Costco has great roses! Dinner together at one of our favorite restaurants, with a nice bottle if wine, (and wait staff who isn't rushing us to turn our table) is perfect. Catching up on conversation about us, instead of kids, is the perfect Valentines Day date with my best friend, my husband, my love.
Dinner with my sweet husband at the Williamsburg Inn with the band playing and dancing. Champagne. Dressing up. The perfect gift? Being loved.
My dream date would start with a day at Red Door Spa with the Hot Stone Massage, facial, pedicure and manicure and make over! Then a shopping spree at Short Pump Town Center. We would have the night booked at the hotel in the Mall and have a Romantic dinner at Firebirds with wine and steaks. Then we would spend the night at the hotel! That would be my perfect date and day!!
A perfect Valentine's evening would be a babysitter for my 2 kids and a quiet candlelit dinner for me and my husband.
The perfect Valentine's Day would start by having a massage...then off to have my hair done and then a manicure & pedicure. After getting dressed up, we'd go out to a nice cozy restaurant and spend a couple of hours just eating and talking. Though, a dozen roses and a box of Godiva chocolates thrown in the mix wouldn't hurt either.
My night would include a quiet dinner at Strawberry Street Cafe, where my husband and I went on our first date, followed by drinks at a quiet restaurant around town and a night at the Jefferson Hotel kid-free. Simple and quiet would make me so happy. :)
I would love a weekend getaway at The Homestead in Hot Springs, VA. Classic spa pampering for a day followed by dinner and dancing. A surprise jewelry gift might be waiting for me. A wonderful appointed guest room with sparkling beverages and chocolates finish off the evening.
